Availability codes (e.g. D-E-D or X-X-E)

Three letters separated by hyphens = how common the item is in three major eras (TechManual: Age of War / Star League · Succession Wars · 3050+ Clan Invasion era). Example: Avail D-E-D means rare · very rare · rare.

Typical patterns: B-B-B = classic widespread tech · E-F-D = Star League gear that got scarce in the Succession Wars · X-X-E = mainly a 3050+ introduction for the Inner Sphere.

Intro / extinct / reintro years

Calendar legality is separate from scarcity codes. Years take precedence for campaign rules (our filters use them):

• IS 2300 / Clan 2824 — introduction year (IS and Clan can differ)
• IS extinct 2840 — left production (lostech)
• IS reintro 3036 — rediscovered after extinction

Legal in year Y (IS): introduced by Y, and either not yet extinct, or extinct but reintroduced by Y. Example: CASE is intro 2476, extinct 2840, reintro 3036 → illegal in 3025 IS, legal again after 3036.

Parentheses after a year (e.g. 3058 (FS)) name who introduced it, not rarity:

FS Federated Suns · DC Draconis Combine · FW Free Worlds League · LA Lyran Alliance · TH Terran Hegemony · FC Federated Commonwealth · CS ComStar · CC Capellan Confederation · CJF Jade Falcon · CGB Ghost Bear · CWF Clan Wolf · CDS Diamond Shark · … Special intro tokens: PS = pre-spaceflight (≤1950) · ES = early spaceflight (1951–2200) · — = none / not applicable · NA = not applicable for that side (IS or Clan).
